Getting to Know You
When you choose ISM Construction, we take our time with introductions. Every building project begins with personalized meetings so that we can fully understand your lifestyle needs, expectations, and vision for your home. Perhaps you like to entertain or need multiple guest rooms? Or maybe you have a personal fixture that you would like us to incorporate into the design. We will guide you through each design discussion with questions that will help us begin to put your ideas to paper.
Talking Budget
Building a new home should be an exciting process. And at ISM Construction, we recognize that budgetary concerns and changes can quickly turn excitement to anxiety for clients. This is why we talk money right from the start. Once you feel that you have a clear sense of budget, then we can begin to work together in choosing a design and features that fit within your financial plan.
Finalizing Design
We will present you with various plans, along with our input for creative and customized design ideas. You will have an opportunity to view your home plan on a 3D rendering, and you will be given very detailed spec sheets before signing a contract with ISM. We will only enter a contract with you once you are completely satisfied with the project details.
Selecting Material
For most clients, this is where things get really fun. You simply need to bring your ideas and look through galleries to help you envision your home’s interior. Our team will assist you in making material selections for cabinetry, lighting, flooring, counters, paint etc. We will also continue to talk cost with you through these selections so that you can know which things you might like to spend more or less on from a big-picture perspective.
Building Timeline
Before breaking ground, we meet with clients on their lot to discuss the location of the house. Prior to the start of the project, we will publish a schedule. This will allow us to keep the project on track and completed in a timely fashion. During the construction phase, we welcome walk-throughs and make it a priority to communicate with and meet clients as needed throughout the process.
Closing & Moving
And this is our favorite part. Introducing you to your new home! Nothing brings us more joy than walking you through the home you’ve helped dream and create. Once the home is cleaned then it’s just the final step of closing, picking up the keys, and moving in!
